Salute To Dealers is a Ford Motor Company initiative that recognizes Dealer Principals who improve the lives of those in need while providing outstanding products and services. Edsel B. Ford II, a member of Ford’s Board of Directors, hosted the honorees at a reception preceding the annual National Automobile Dealers Association Convention in Orlando, Florida.

In partnership with Ford Global Marketing, Mach 2 Management’s responsibilities with this event ranged from acting as a liaison with the nominees and honorees to commissioning the portraits of the nine honorees that are hanging in the halls of the Henry Ford II World Center.

The honorees are the VIP’s at this event and are treated as such. Mach 2 provides only the best, so arrangements were made for the VIP’s to stay at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Provisions were also in place for the honorees to have their pictures taken with the Ford Executives in attendance as well as the legendary Carroll Shelby.

Along with designing, printing and delivering the invitations to VIP’s across the United States, Mach 2 also worked with the Ritz-Carlton to manage all of the food and beverage arrangements, not to mention flawlessly controlling the last-minute location change due to inclement weather.

This event also allowed Mach 2 the opportunity to expand their capabilities by supporting Mort Crimm Communications in creating a very emotional video montage spotlighting honorees as they give unselfishly of their time and financial support to their communities.
